Liz Price: Trainer/Consultant
Alongside her Trainer-Consultant role Liz Price is currently the Practice Facilitator at Kyabra Community Association. During her 14 years there she has had opportunities to develop strengths and narrative approaches to her work with individuals, families, groups, communities and organisations. She has worked with community members around issues such as intimate partner violence, child protection, parenting, trauma, and siblings of people with disabilities.
She is a big fan of the St Lukes "seriously optimistic" tools, as well as a creator, co-creator, and user of tools, objects and images in her practice. Her work draws on the use of art, poetry, music and conversation as tools for expression, exploration and acknowledgement. In her training and facilitation work she brings the same playfulness and curiosity that can be found in her therapeutic practice. She is delighted to be able to support others in their journey to incorporate strengths and narrative ideas into their practice, as well as to be heartened and re-invigorated by the practice stories others share through the learning process.
